Bodegas del Aguila is located in Carinena, which is the second oldest denomination of origin
for wines in Spain outside of Rioja. Carinena is located in Northern Spain between Ribera
Del Duero and Rioja. The vineyards are 2,200 hectares nestled against the Iberico
mountain range. The vines are 850 meters over sea level which is the highest vineyards in
the region. The winery handles 12 million kilograms of grapes per year and has a capacity
of 11 million liters. The cellar contains over 13,000 French and American Oak barrels.
Aguila wines have awards across many continents including North America and Europe.
